...100% profit for the Band...
----------------------------
Refer Sponsorship sheets on the Download page of this site. We also have beautiful brochures available for you to use with this information. This is truly a way for a student to pay their Fair Share payment by simply acquiring a single Sponsor for the band, as well as earning 100% pure profit for the band! Plus, some fantastic incentives for the kids! Email Mr. Schifferdecker with any questions.

Be sure to check out our page on Facebook. We will be transferring a vast majority of our pictures over to this site as well... with dozens of new photos as well. Become a "fan" of the DRHS Band!

Grocery Cards - Do you eat?
Then here's another no work, no selling fundraiser!
----------------------------
Scolari's Friendship Fund
We have been enrolled in the Scolari's Friendship Fund since 2007. Our group number is 2722. So please enroll in the Friendship Fund if you plan to shop at Scolari's.

Raley's Quality of Life Program
This program is much like the Scolari's Friendship fund. The only difference is you cannot obtain a card at the store level. The Boosters have ordered an initial supply of cards and they will be available at all band events, or may be mailed to you upon request. To request a card, please contact Julie Lamm at 852-9663 or jlamm9663@sbcglobal.net. Instructions to register the card will be provided with the card.

Festival & Individual Accolades!
--------------------------------------------------------
Damonte Ranch's Symphonic Band was the second highest scoring High School ensemble at last week's WCSD Band Festival! Congratulations on a fantastic performance! Our "Superior" rating was only one of four out of 34 total performances.

When you take into consideration how hard our kids worked for the 2 days that we hosted the event, their Friday night performance is even that much more of a remarkable feat. Kudos to all!

Additionally, the following students auditioned and were accepted into the 2010 WCSD Honor Band. Congratulations to everyone who auditioned!

Daniel Paulsen, clarinet
Justin Kirwan, clarinet
David Cho, clarinet
Nathaniel Reyes, bassoon*
Cassie Douglas, trombone
Jem Locquiao, trombone

The Honor Band Concert was held on March 17 at the Pioneer Center under the direction of guest conductor, Dr. Paula Crider from the University of Texas. IT WAS TRULY AN AMAZING CONCERT!

* PLEASE NOTE AS WELL THAT NATHANIEL WAS ACCEPTED INTO THE 2010 NEVADA ALL-STATE BAND. Our heartfelt congratulations!
