Fair Share
All Fair Share payments were due October 26. We still have over $4000 in past due fees!!!! Please, we really do need to take care of this prior to April 1. Thank you for your attention to the matter.

SCRIP order forms are on the Download Page!

PARENTS: Please fill out the Parent Volunteer Form in the back of the Band Handbook ASAP
We really do need your help!

Sponsorship program is underway and going strong!
...100% profit for the Band...
Refer to the Sponsorship sheets on the Download page of this site. This is truly a way for a student to pay their Fair Share payment by simply acquiring a single Sponsor for the band, as well as earning 100% pure profit for the band! Plus, some fantastic incentives for the kids! Email Mr. Schifferdecker with any questions.

A no-brainer fundraiser for your family!

WHEN: The Damonte Ranch High School Band Boosters are pleased to offer a Scrip program to our band families as a year round fund raiser.

WHAT: The great thing about Scrip is it does not cost the families anything and you do not have sell anything! Scrip is a term that means "substitute money". When our members purchase scrip, we are purchasing negotiable gift certificates (or gift cardsthat are used just like cash. The scrip is issued by the national and local retailers where families already shop. With each gift certificate/card used, we earn revenue for our Band and towards your Fair Share (student fees) by making purchases we would make anyway! Groceries, clothing, gifts, toys and even gasoline can be purchased with scrip.

HOW: Scrip is ordered through a coordinator and payment will be made to the school. Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount - from 2% to 15%. As a general rule, about 5% of your family's purchases will be returned to the Band and your Fair Share payment as revenue. Ordering is easy, whether you choose to utilize the online order forms or paper. Once the funds are deposited in the school bank account, a check will be issued and the scrip order will be released. We are looking into an easier way to pay the school so out of state, extended family may participate, too. We will keep you posted. All materials including lists of participating retailers and order forms, will be available on the Download Page of this website.

NOTE: The local participating grocery stores are Save-Mart, Safeway and Wal-Mart. We are now enrolled with Raley's and Scolari's in their own "frequent shopper" programs (information follows). We will be contacting Whole Foods to ask for their participation. Smith's "Earn to Learn" fundraising program is not being offered in the Reno area at this time. Smith's will keep us posted if they should begin offering the program in our area, but in the mean time we are inquiring into their Scrip participation. Winco does not participate in any type of fund raising program.

GROCERY CARDS - Do you eat?
Then here's another no work, no selling fundraiser!
Scolari's Friendship Fund
We have been enrolled in the Scolari's Friendship Fund since 2007. Our group number is 2722. So please enroll in the Friendship Fund if you plan to shop at Scolari's.

Raley's Quality of Life Program
This program is much like the Scolari's Friendship fund. The only difference is you cannot obtain a card at the store level. The Boosters have ordered an initial supply of cards and they will be available at all band events, or may be mailed to you upon request. To request a card, please contact Julie Lamm at 852-9663 or jlamm9663@sbcglobal.net. Instructions to register the card will be provided with the card.
