The Damonte Ranch Winter Drumline (aka Indoor Drumline) consists of the marching percussion and front ensemble sections of the marching band. This ensemble marries elements of music performance, marching, and theater. Membership is open to any registered music student from Damonte Ranch High School. This marching ensemble is an extracurricular activity. The Winter Drumline is the three-time defending NNIA Scholastic Champion and a 2015 Winter Guard International Regional Finalist (Clovis, CA) . The competitive season starts at the conclusion of the Marching Band season in November and runs through the end of March.
The Damonte Ranch Concert Percussion Ensemble consists of concert percussion instruments and does not march. Membership is open to any student registered for Percussion Class, which is when this group rehearses. The Percussion Ensemble has been selected for Command Performance at the NMEA Solo & Ensemble contest for the past three years.
